Academy Program Policies

Academy Program Policies

These policies apply to open enrollment programs offered by InnSure and available for registration on Insurance Innovation Leadership Academy. Programs offered in collaboration with third parties are subject to the policies, terms, and conditions of the organization managing the application process and website.

Admissions Policy

The InnSure Corporation admits students of any race, color, sex, religion, or national or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the Institute. It does not discriminate against individuals on the basis of race, color, sex, sexual orientation, religion, disability, age, or national or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, employment policies, scholarship and loan programs, and other Institute administered programs and activities, but may favor U.S. citizens or residents in admissions.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be made in writing by contacting info@InnSure.org. At a minimum the following cancelation fees will apply. Individual courses or program may apply course specific cancellation policies that supercede these policies.

  • 91 days or more prior to the program start date: $250 administrative fee

  • 90 - 60 days prior to course      50% of course price

  • 30 - 59 days prior to course       75% of course price

  • 0- 29 days prior to course         100% of course price

Deferral Policy

All enrollment deferrals must be requested in writing. Send a note to info@innsure.org indicating that you wish to have your enrollment deferred to another session of the same program within one year.

At a minimum the following deferral fees will apply. Individual courses or program may apply course specific deferral policies that supercede these policies.

  • 42 days or more prior to the program start date: No fee

  • 41-22 days prior to the program start date: 25% fee

  • 21 days-1 day prior to the program start date: 50% fee

  • On or after the program start date: 100% fee

For all deferral requests, any balance remaining after the fee will be applied toward your tuition in the new session.

  • If you have paid in full: Your payment will be applied to the tuition in the new session, and you will not be charged any increase in tuition related to the new session.

  • If you have not paid in full: You will be billed for the remaining/outstanding tuition for the new session. Please note that there may be an increase in tuition for the new session.

If you choose to defer your admission to a future program session, you must attend that session or you will forfeit all funds previously paid. Only one deferral or substitution per registration is allowed and the new session must occur within one year of the original session date.  Changes to your program registrations may affect any previously applied discounts (e.g. the multiple program registration discount), and may result in an increase in individual program registration fees. There is no cancellation allowed on deferred admissions.

Certain programs require a non-refundable deposit upon acceptance to secure enrollment; this is indicated in the email sent confirming your registration in the program. Should you be unable to attend the program, the deposit is not eligible for refund, regardless of cancellation/deferral date or reason. Within 42 days of the program start date, the standard cancellation and deferral fees will still apply.

Discount Policy

Please note that you may take advantage of only one discount or special offer per program (e.g.,group pricing, early registration, VIP etc.). Discounts cannot be combined.

Substitution Policy

If your schedule changes and you can no longer attend the program, you may be able to send a qualified colleague in your place. Only one substitution is allowed per program registration. All substitutes require prior approval from the program faculty. Therefore, any requests for substitutes must be submitted in writing to info@insure.org at least 10 days prior to the start of the program.

Program Attendance and Completion Policy

Participants must attend the entire program in order to receive the program certificate of completion and any credit towards an Executive or ACE Certificate. There will be no partial credit granted for any program that is not fully completed. If you will not be able to attend the entire program, we advise you to register for another session.

There are no academic credits granted for participation in executive programs. Tuition rates listed in the program description reflect the total cost of participation in the course. Accommodations are not included in all programs; see the individual program descriptions for complete details. Enrollment is confirmed only upon receipt of payment.
